Cutaneous manifestation of H1N1:
Prodromal symptoms include fever, chills, cough and body ach. 1week following prodromal symptoms, cutaneous manifestation of numerous non pruritic erythematous macule measuring about 2x3 mm2 occurs me(1). It was distributed over the dorsum of the feet, leg, arms later on involved proximally(1). The area which are usually not involved include axilla, groin, palms, soles, trunk, and face(1).
Histopathology findings:
Epidermis shows occasional necrotic keratinocytes(1). Dermoepidermal junction shows focal vacuolar degenarations and dermis shows lymphocytic infiltrations around the superficial blood vessels(1).
