6.1 Scope of a Non-production Safety Case The scope of a Non-production Safety Case is the Non-production Installation including all the equipment required to work on a well and control that well. A Non-production Safety Case must demonstrate the capability of the Non-production Installation to carryout the well work activities described in a Well Work Safety Case such that the risk is ALARP. Where a Well Work Permit is sought through the submission of a Non-production Safety Case and a Well Work Safety Case, the Well Work Safety Case will state that the well being worked on is within the stated capabilities of the Non-production Installation.
