GLOSSARY: Aesthetic – dealing with aesthetics or beautiful, pleasing in appearance
Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSENs) - are individuals who have been observed to have difficulties in hearing, communicating, seeing, self-care, mobility and cognition and/or who are gifted and talented in various developmental domains or subjects/skills areas. Some learners are twice exceptional such that giftedness, talent and disability occurs simultaneously.
Learning Environment – refers to any formal or non-formal setting where children gain knowledge and skills useful for their daily lives. Learning environment may take the form of schools, centers and/or community.
Identity – the qualities, beliefs, etc. that make a particular person or group different from others
Realia –objects or activities used to relate classroom teaching to the real life especially of peoples studied
