E-911 Augusta County
General
Emergency E-911 service, also referred to as 911 Service, is a telephone Exchange communication service whereby one or more Public Safety answering points (PSAPs) designated by the Emergency Service Agency (ESA) may receive telephone call dialed to the telephone number 911.
Emergency 911 Service, like all of the company’s other services, is offered subject to the general terms and conditions contained in the General Rules and Regulations section of this tariff and, in particular, the liability of the company’s provisions in that section of the tariff.
The Company’s entire liability to any person for interruption or failure of E-911 Service, whether due to the Company’s network facilities, shall be limited to the terms set forth in the section and other sections of this tariff.
This tariff provides for E-911 trunk service for Deerfield area customers to the Augusta County ESA and applies only to those services for Deerfield area customers.

Moves, Changes, and Rearrangements
Network and Central Office Equipment
Charges for moves, changes and rearrangements of network and
central office equipment which are customer initiated will be based
upon the cost for such moves, changes and rearrangements.
ANI Base
Charges for customer initiated changes and rearrangements affecting
service address and ANI Data Base Records (i.e., street and address
identification, name, or number change, etc.) will be based on estimate
costs for such changes. In such cases, a valid comparative listing of
changes must be supplied providing direct and individual reference to
existing designations.

C. Conditions
This service is offered solely as an aid in routing calls in connection with fire,
police, and other emergency services. In the event of service interruption, the (t)
Company shall not be liable to any person, corporation or other entity for any loss
or damage in an amount equal to the pro rata allowance of the tariff rate for the
service or the facilities provided to the ESA. No allowance shall be made if the
interruption is due to the negligence of willful act of the ESA.
When the use of service or facilities furnished by the Company is interrupted
due to any cause other than the negligence of the ESA, a pro rata adjustment of
the fixed monthly charges involved may be allowed as covered by the General
Rules and Regulations section of this tariff.
Each end-user an ESA also agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless
the Company from any and all loss, claims, demands, suits or other actions or any
liability whatsoever, whether suffered, made, instituted or asserted by the end-user,
ESA or PSAP, for personal injury or death to any person or persons, or for any loss, damage, or destruction of any property, whether owned by the end-user, ESA, or
others.
The Company’s liability for any loss or damage arising from errors, interruptions,
defects or failures of this service or any part thereof whether caused by the
negligence of the Company or other shall not exceed an amount equivalent to the
pro rate charges for the service affected during the period of time that the service (m)

The ESA recognized that the address provided with Automatic Number
Identification (ANI) are the business records of the Company and cannot
guarantee the accuracy in emergency situations.
The 911 Service calling party forfeits the privacy by non-published
telephone number service to the extent that the telephone number, address,
and name associated with the originating station location are furnished to
the PSAP.
