Description: This fellowship is designed to provide summer financial support for outstanding graduate students in the Department of Psychology. Description: The Endangered Language Fund was founded in 1996 with the goal of supporting language preservation and documentation projects. To that end, ELF provides grants for language maintenance and linguistic fieldwork related to languages in danger of disappearing within a generation or two. Work that has immediate applicability to one group and more distant application to the other also will be considered. Publishing subventions are a low priority, although they will be considered.
