I first started pursuing a career as Montessori lead teacher joining an AMI accredited school in the Alpharetta area in 2006 as a substitute for three months. Then an opening became available as a Lead Primary Montessori Teacher’s Assistant in a prestigious Montessori school in Metropolitan Atlanta where I worked under the leadership of one of the premier primary Montessori teachers in the Atlanta area. Inspired by her work each day, I began the intensive training to become a Lead Primary Montessori Teacher in 2008. I now hold an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Primary Diploma from the Montessori Institute of Atlanta. I earned a degree in Interior Design at the Art Institute of Houston in Houston, TX in 1998. I am fluent in Spanish. I was born in Washington, DC. but lived until 1991 in Venezuela next to my two younger sisters, mom and dad. My dog Orbe, my husband Mike and I reside in Kennesaw, GA. My husband and I love spending a great deal of our free time enjoying the arts, listening to all types of music and the outdoors.
