| I have Internet service provided by Grande Communications. The link is 115mbps down and 30mbps up. Inside my apartment I have my primary laptop that is connected to my Apple Airport Express via WIFI and my desktop that uses a CAT6 cable plugging into the Airport Express for connectivity. The Airport Express gets its data from the ISP provided Grande Communications router/modem. Once the communication leaves my apartment equipment the packets go up into the Internet bouncing off numerous different routing devices before it is directed to the UNT firewall where the firewall then accepts the packets and directs it to its final destination.
