Italian Embassy in Moscow is competent for the entire region of the Russian Federation, including Leningrant (city of St. Petersburg), Murmansk, Pskov, Novgorod, Vologda and Arcanghelsk as well as for the Independent Republic of Karelia,for which is competent the Italian Consulate in St. Petersburg. The Italian Embassy in Moscow is also competent for Turkmenistan.
+3 hours respecting Greenwich time, in Moscow and in St.Petersburg (+ 2 hours respecting Italy, + respecting Greece). +10 hours respecting Vladivostok. In the country are valid 8 different time zones.
For the entrance in the country it is necessary a passport of at least six months duration and a visa that is issued by the Russian Embassy in Rome or through the General Consulates. It is highly recommended not to enter Russia without the necessary documents because there it is practically difficult to regulate your position towards the Local Authorities and likely you are going to be sent to the borders and return to your country on your own expenses, paying a high enough fine.
