How I spend my free time:Since we are no longer operating our photography studio, we have enjoyed getting out of Florida for the past two summers, using our RV to see and enjoy other parts of the country, specifically New England.

Born in Huntingburg, Indiana he was a long time resident and a Viet Nam Veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Bische was an electrician by trade and a passionate musician who enjoyed his family, fishing and his pets. He was a member of the American Legion Post 24, the Moose Lodge, D.A.V. My Education:Joined the USCG after high school. Got to see and visit most every island in the N Pacific. Got out after 4 yrs and went to St Pete JC in electronics. Two yrs later, was hired by BellSouth (Southern Bell) and moved to Jacksonville. While working and raising a family, earned a BS and MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
My Career:I recently retired from BellSouth as Vice President/General Mgr of Florida Operations with 33 years of employment. I was very fortunate in my career with BellSouth. Great company to work for and made my retirement decision quite easy.
How I spend my free time:It's amazing how much there is to do after retirement. I have a home on the St Johns River so naturally I spend a lot of time fishing and boating. Personal:Lee and I met in Bradenton and, like a lot of people, moved around quite a bit while I finished getting my bachelors degree and she completed her Masters in Social Work. Our daughter is a CPA and works as an auditor for the clerk of courts in Tallahassee.
My Education:Started college at FSU (in music), came back to MJC then on to an AA degree at St. Petersburg Jr. College. Then to USF for a while and (finally) back to FSU to finish with a BS in Criminology and a minor in Government. I am a Certified Building Contractor (Fla), a licensed single engine land aircraft pilot and a (lapsed) 100 Ton Ocean Operator (boat captain).
My Career:Currently retired after a varied career that started with being a probation and parole officer for children under 18 and moved through several middle management and entrepreneurial vocations (Managed a small island, boat captain, small boat builder, marine contractor, certified Fla. building contractor, construction inspector for the Florida Park service and several other things). It has been a lot of fun.
How I spend my free time:I had to stop sculling (rowing), which I did for over thirty years as a form of exercise because of arthritis in my lower back. I have since taken up Taoist Tai Chi to try to slow the ravages of time and improve things without doing something that is likely to cause injuries. It seems to work and I wish I had started it sooner.
Other comments:We moved to Tallahassee about three years ago to help with the care of our grand daughter (Piper) who is now five years old and I have it on good authority (my wife) that she is the "cutest, smartest, best little girl...". (Updated 11/13/2017)

My Career:After 20 years in the Navy, I worked for several companies that developed training courses, mostly for Department of Defense agencies. I retired from my civilian career in 2011.

My Education:I attended Brevard College in North Carolina for 2 years. I have training & certification in ophthalmology. I am an Ophthalmic Technician, Surgical Assistant, study coordinator for clinical research studies & work for the Hernando Eye Institute in Spring Hill, FL.
My Career:After college, I moved to Miami where I worked for the University of Miami as a secretary for an eye testing program in the schools, funded by the federal govt. I soon learned how to do the testing & worked there for about 2 yrs. After getting married, we moved to Naples, FL where I worked for an ophthalmologist. Then we moved to Bradenton & worked for 2 ophthalmologists there for about 2 yrs. We decided to do some traveling, so we went to Tenn. to help a friend with his farm for awhile. While we were there, I got a job at a shoe factory, since there wasn't much choice of jobs, & my family got a big kick out of that! Then we traveled out west & stayed in Phoenix for awhile & proceeded to San Franciso for my husband to attend the San Franciso Art Institute. I worked for some ophthalmologists there for about 4 years & decided to move back to Florida where we felt more comfortable with our surroundings & weather. We found a house to purchase on an island that we fell in love with & we have been here ever since. I stopped working for about 7 yrs. so that we could have children & stay at home with them before going to school. By that time I was ready to go back to work. I have been working for 2 ophthalmologists in Spring Hill for almost 27 yrs. & plan to stay there until I retire. I did retire for two and a half years and got bored, so I went back to work.
How I spend my free time:I like to go to the beach, swim, boating, fishing, sailing & playing games on my computer.
