Activity 1 ASSIGMENT

1.1

1.1.1 Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension,it can come from any thought that makes you feel angry, frustrated, or nervous it can also motivate and make you ready for action. Stress is also our bodies reacton to a challenge or deman, you may feel overcome by:



(a)too many problems to solve

(btoo much work to do at a short period of time

(c)thing that have no control but happening at the same time

1.1.2 Stessor is anything that causes stress or pressure,it can be physical and emotional to social and environmental .They also affect your quality time and life on how you live .For example if your love partner tells you that shes pregnant knowing that your life status is very bad or finacially unstable that may cause emotional stress.

1.1.3 Positive stress (eustress) is good motivation most encourages and make you push yourself harder.This include going for a job interview ,writting exams,applying for universities ,that can bring the greatest in you.

Negative stress (distress) is a bad stress causing depressed,unhappy,unproductive .for example some people start bad habbits like taking of drugs,alcohol leading indestorying/affecting your health.also a negetive stress can lead to physical fights,negetivity of words towards yourself and someone.

1.2 Negetive impact of academic related stress is the decrease of stress and sustainable employment also the risk of school dropout.Example when someone unemployed has finacial money problems it becomes a stress that now that he/she has to go and to the landlord for a money loan.

ACTIVITY 2; ASSIGNMENT

2.1 INTRODUCTION

Study skills are skills that you need to study and learn effectively and having new information of studying,set of tranferable life skills, For example effective reading.Study strategies are approached to applied to any skill which boosts a person's ability to study hard.Study styles or learning style is the way that different students learn,including visual, auditory.

The NSC enables learners to access to a variety of post-school opportunities depending on their performance in Grade 12. The opportunities include entry-level employment, admission to learnerships and internships, and admission to colleges, universities and other higher education institutions.

2.2 PREPARATIONS FOR POST SCHOOL

2.2.1 The transition between school and the post school destination was difficult because every student steps into a difficult phase of life where he or she have to leave their home and stay in hostel to continue his or her college or secondary studies

2.2.2 It is very important for learners to reflect on thier study skills to be able to catch up with the lessons a student must know what’s the most suitable study strategies for him to use in order to pass any exams in any subjects which leads to passing the National Senior Certificate. Furthermore, it will help students not to repeatedly do the same mistakes which delays learning.

2.3 THE IMPORTANCE OF SCHOOL BASED ASSESSMENT

2.3.1 School Based Assessment is the , gathering, and interpreting information about the performance of learners, basically, to get marks for learners during the term and not all in one or two days.

(b) Examination writting skills are the skills that help the learners cope better in taking an exam.

2.3.2 Assessment is a key component of learning beacuse it able to see how they are doing in a class, they are able to determine whether or not they understand course material. Assessment can also help motivate students.

2.4 CONCLUSION

Secrifise my time and let my books be my friends.

Making sure i always do given Assessments by the teachers.

Always make sure im present in class .

Make sure i stay Focus and prepared tests

ACTIVITY 3: SOURCE BASED TASK

3.1.1 Unemployment reffers to one individual who is actively searching for employment but unable to find work/job oppotunities...

3.1.2 Cycle of unemployment is unemployment that results directly from cycles of economic

3.1.3 Enterpreneurship the process of creating a new business/bearing any of its risks, with the view of making the profit.

3.2 REASONS FOR UNEMPLOYMENT ARE:

(a) Lack of knowledge on how to apply for study bursaries.

(b)Some young people make high wage demands at entry level.

(c)Some youth give up looking for jobs.

(d)There are many university graduates with qualifications that do not match markert needs.

3.33Increase student exposure to jobs that are in demand—as well as providing a better understanding of industry needs.



3.4 Starting a mini business while doing my studies in grade 12 so that after i complete my studies atleast i would have something to do not just to sitaround or apply for internship in companies even volutee ..

3.5 Unemployment can cause psychological distress, which can lead to a decline in life satisfaction. It can also lead to mood disorders and substance abuse.
