By signing this document, new subscriber agrees that they have read and agree to the rules and regulations as follows: A subscription service is a COURTESY service that Chicago Comics provides, and you are not obligated to buy everything we put on hold for you. Occasionally, we will put stuff in your box that we think you may like, but if you don’t end up buying it, that’s ok! On the other hand, if you ask us to pull 30 comics for you, and you buy only 10 of those books, we will be annoyed, in which case we may tell you about it, and in extreme cases will enforce Rule #3 if it becomes habit. (See rule #3 for more details.)
There are no discounts! Understand that the reason for this is to keep Chicago Comics in business. Chicago Comics would not be able to be the wonderful comic shop that it is, with the vast selection of stuff you didn’t even know you needed, if we offered discounts. If we did offer discounts we would have the exact same selection as every other comics shop on the planet. We’re sorry, and we know it kinda sucks.
Chicago Comics reserves the right to cancel your subscription for any reason we choose. Pick up your books at least every two weeks, and let us know if you can’t make it in more than once per month. Communication is important to prevent losing your pull privileges!!! If you are late to pick up your holds we will call you to give you a warning. If you do not pick up your books after your warning then your subscription will be cancelled and we will enforce rule #4 if it applies to your pull.
If you get more than 10 regular titles on your pull list a month we require you to keep a valid credit card on file. If you are two (2) months negligent in picking up your pull then your card will be charged for all the books in your pull box and your subscription service will be cancelled.
Subscribers may make Previews orders without a deposit, but you must buy whatever items you pre-order. Be sure to check the Previews box in the magazine section in order to get your copy of Previews and the Previews order form. You may also add or subtract titles from your pull service by email, phone, or in person at the counter! If for any reason you wish to cancel your pull, please do so by calling, writing us an email, or stopping in and telling us so in a timely manner!
