4-H Alumni Scholarship $1,000


  • 4-H applicants must be finishing Grade 12 from a recognized Island school of learning in the year that the scholarship is awarded

  • Candidates must be continuing on into formal education at a recognized post-secondary institution of learning the year the award is received.

  • Deadline:    Tuesday, March 31, 2015

4-H Council Scholarship (PEI) $1,000


  • 4-H applicants must be finishing Grade 12 from a recognized Island school of learning in the year that the scholarship is awarded 

  • Candidates must be continuing on into formal education at a recognized post-secondary institution of learning the year the award is received.

  • Deadline: March 31

APRIL DEADLINES

Credit Counselling Services of Atlantic Canada

  • scholarship competition open to residents of Atlantic Canada (regardless of age) who will be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program for the 2015-2016 academic year.

  • Deadline: April 10




Co-operators 4-H Scholarship Award & Harvest Trust 4-H Scholarship Trust Fund

  • members for at least 2 years

  • scholarships sponsored by P.E.I. 4-H Council, Canadian National Exhibition and Petro Canada

  • applications available through the 4-H Council or by writing

  • Canadian 4-H Council  1690 Woodward Drive  Suite 208, Ottawa, Ontario K2C 3R8

  • value $1000 ( 1 per province)  Deadline: Mid April


Stephen Turner Memorial Fund

  • Recipient must be attending first year of study at either Holland College, UPEI or College Acadie

  • Deadline: April 15, 2015 application and additional criteria at http://www.cfpei.ca/applications.php


Canadian Hospitality Foundation Scholarships

  • must be entering a program in Hotel Administration, Institutional Foodservices, Food and Beverage Management,  Hospitality and Tourism

  • must be attending one of the universities or colleges listed at http://www.thechf.ca/scholarships and application submitted to them directly

  • Deadline early April


CUPE 3260 (Educational Assistants and Youth Service Workers) Scholarship

  • Any candidate must be a member in a Permanent position and be in good standing of Local 3260.

  • Or, a candidate must be the spouse, daughter or son (adopted or natural, stepchildren residing with you, or legal guardian of that child).

  • Any candidate must be enrolled in an academic or vocational education program (anywhere and not limited to PEI institutions).

  • The candidate must provide Proof of Enrollment from a recognized academic or vocational university or college.

  • Proof of Enrollment must be submitted to your Local 3260 V.P. by September 25th, 2015.

  • Application forms must be submitted to your Local 3260 V.P. by APRIL 17th, 2015 DEADLINE. More details at http://www.cupe3260.ca/forms.php

Marine Atlantic Bursary Program

  • dependents living in the same household as a former Marine Atlantic employee who will be entering post- secondary study for the first time in September

  • financial need, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities

  • Applicants must be pursuing post secondary study at one of the following educational

  • institutions: University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College or Collège Acadie Î.-P.-É.

  • applications available through Student Services or http://www.gov.pe.ca/forms/pdf/1407.pdf          

  • Deadline: end of April



St. Dunstan’s Scholarship (3 renewable - 3 yrs. scholarships of $5000 each)

  • full-time undergraduate students at the University of Prince Edward Island

  • Roman Catholic

  • permanent residence within the Diocese of Charlottetown

  • renewing students must be registered full-time at UPEI.

Hockey PEI (BF Lorenzetti Bursary) $1000

  • Applicants must have been enrolled in a University or other post-secondary education facility in 2014-2015

  • They must be pursuing a field that encourages and promotes “risk management” such as physical education, physiotherapy, massage therapy, sports medicine, etc.

PEI Fishermen's Association Member Scholarship





  • (2) $1,000 scholarships awarded to two students from fishing local

  • Must be related to a member

  • Graduating and be accepted as first-year student at an accredited post-secondary institution

  • Requirements and application forms are available at student services

  • Deadline: April 15th, 2015




Canadian Student Leadership Association (5 @ $1,000)


  • Be enrolled in their senior year in a Canadian high school that is currently a member of CSLA. Membership information is available on this website.

  • Have a minimum average of 70% in their graduating year.

  • Plan to attend an accredited Canadian post secondary institution.

  • Have made a superior contribution to Canadian students through membership in planning committees of major regional, provincial and or national student leadership initiatives recognized by CSLA.

  • Have made a significant contribution to student leadership initiatives in their home community.

Brigitta van Vliet Memorial Scholarship


  • Must be pursuing studies in writing and/or journalism

  • Student must submit two (2) samples of unpublished writings in English

  • Amounts vary each year

Assumption Foundation Scholarship

  • $1,500 scholarship (7 awards)

  • Grade point average of 70% + in last completed school year
