November 14th, 2014 Dear Parents, We are happy to inform that Tokyo Campus will have School Exhibition on 22nd November-2014 (Saturday) between 10.30 AM to 3.00 PM. Students of Grade 5 to 12 participate in school exhibition and will exhibit various projects/models of Science, Mathematics, Social studies and Computer science. Art and craft work of students will also be displayed. All the parents are invited. Yokohama campus will have its exhibition on 24th November from 10 am onwards. Parents of 3rd to 8th grade are invited. Various projects prepared by the students will be on display. We would like to inform you that there has been a case of chicken pox among the students of Tokyo campus. The syllabus of FA3 has been informed to the students and the week of test is 17th Nov-21 Nov. No daily schedule will be given; it will be conducted during the class. Parents who have not cleared 2nd term tuition need to do so before their ward can take FA3. There will be no further reminder about this. On Saturday, November 15th, from 10-3 the history bowl students of Tokyo and Yokohama will have a practice tournament at IISJ to prepare for the first of two Tokyo Regionals on November 29th. Some of the history bowl parents will be helping out in the tournament by reading the question sets so that they can practice as well for reading on the 29th. Finally, any parent of history bowl who has not joined the Google Group for history bowl parents should email Mr. Ted at tedman1313@gmail.com. This group is designed to be an FAQ and discussion forum for parents of history bowl students so that all pertinent information is obtained by all parents. Recently we have been trying to reduce the amount of paper used at school and have tried sending out emails to parents instead. However, we have found that some of the emails are not going to an actively read email address or they are going to an address that no longer exists and bouncing back. If the email you provided the office upon registration is not one you normally view or you don’t use it any more, please email the office at iisjtokyo@gmail.com and include your child’s or children’s names and their grade so we can update the information in the register.
