8. Technical Specifications 8.1 Vehicle manufacturer shall submit test vehicle specification in Annex 1 format for type approval. 8.2 Vehicle manufacturer or REESS manufacturer shall submit technical specifications of REESS in Annex 2 format for type approval. 9. Transitional provisions 9.1. General guidelines for transitional provisions for this standard shall be as per AIS, as amended from time to time, as applicable, with the following additional requirements. 9.2. For L category vehicles retesting shall be carried out for compliance to this standard from the date stipulated in the notification. Manufacturers may request testing as per this standard from the date of adoption of this standard in CMVR-TSC. 9.3. For REESS of L category vehicles retesting shall be carried out for compliance to this standard from the date stipulated in the notification. Manufacturers may request testing as per this standard from the date of adoption of this standard in CMVR-TSC.
