Sydney Rhame (vocals/guitar) is a 13 year old singer-songwriter from Decatur, GA. and a rising 8th grader at Renfroe Middle School. She began writing music and lyrics when she was six and has performed for audiences at venues throughout the southeast since the age of eight. Rhame’s body of work includes over fifty original songs in the pop/rock-acoustic genre. She has won numerous national and local singing contests and as garnered much media attention for her mature voice and lyrics. She has also fronted the all-girl rock bands, The Lock Outs and Verge. She received her first recording contract offer at age 11 and has been working in the recording studio with Grammy-Nominated Producer Russ-T Cobb. Rhame,

Anthony Malik Compton (electric bass) is 12 years old and a rising sixth grader at The Children's School where he is a Duke-TIP Scholar. He began playing the electric bass and studying music theory at age eight at Atlanta Premier Guitars. He is a member of the Drumming Ensemble at The Children's School in which he plays drums and accompanies the ensemble on the bass. He performs regularly at venues as a member of "The Melon Men", a jazz ensemble, originating from the Little Five Points Community Music Center. He recently completed a Jazz Residency workshop with The Julliard School. He studies acoustic guitar and keyboards as well.
Jody Chamberlain (keyboards and vocals) is 14 years old, from Tucker GA. He first began taking piano lessons at age 5 and picked up the trombone at age 10. He is the lead vocalist and keyboardist of a hard driving rock band called 38th Parallel which has appeared regularly at the Old Tucker Fountain in Tucker, GA, Underground Atlanta and other local venues. In 2010, Jody’s own musical composition, “Into the Cosmos”, won him a spot in a statewide competition. He currently studies jazz piano with Heidi Pollyea and trombone with Robb Smith. Jody will be a 9th grader at the Dekalb School of the Arts, majoring in trombone, piano and visual arts.

Felipe Soares is 11 years old and home educated since first grade.
His background in music includes piano studies at Silva Piano Studios, since the age of 4, with Dr Francisco Silva, and drums, started in 2010, with Rich Jones. He is currently the drummer for the Melon Man Jazz Ensemble from the Community Music Center at Little Five Points. He has performed in several events around Atlanta, including the Dogwood Festival, the traditional Tunes from the Tomb at the Oakland Cemetery and at the World of Coca Cola.
Felipe is also a talented athlete, playing soccer and tennis, and a keen reader who loves animals, biology, science, and mythology.
Heidi Pollyea (ensemble coach, private music Instructor, vocals, keyboards and guitar)
Heidi studied classical and jazz music at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. and has a music teaching certificate from Cal State Dominguez Hills, Carson CA. After a stint teaching middle school music in Miami, Fl, Heidi, moved to Atlanta to pursue private music teaching and her career as a singer/songwriter. As an instructor, Heidi works with students of all ages, including many adults. Although her teaching style emphasizes learning through enjoyment, many of Heidi’s students have gone on to professional music careers. As a performer, Heidi leads her own folk/rock ensemble (Heidi and the Hushpuppies) and also freelances with other artists in various contemporary music styles and settings. She has two CD’s, a single that helps raise money for animal disaster victims called “Shelter” and the other is a full length CD showcasing her original music titled “Best (Of) Friends. Heidi teaches at her home studio in Clarkston, GA as well as at Firehouse Guitars, Decatur, GA.
