Deadline: Monday, November 17, 2014 Amount: $1,500 Who can apply? We seek qualified and dedicated students in the environmental, health and safety (EHS) related fields. Website: www.assesj.org 1. Preference will be given to San Jose area applicants that are full-time students attending an accredited degree-granting institution and enrolled in a safety, occupational health, or environmental related program. 2. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 24 undergraduate or 12 graduate credit hours and be seeking a career related to safety, occupational health, or environmental management. 3. Applicants must possess a cumulative, overall minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. 4. Last-term seniors are not eligible.

Website: http://www.twc.edu/internships/additional-programs/federal-diversity-internship-initiative The Washington Center is excited to announce spring and summer 2015 internship opportunities available through the Federal Diversity Internship Initiative. To be considered for these paid federal internship positions, students should apply by November 19, 2014 (for the spring) or March 18, 2015 (for the summer). Selected students will intern for 10 or 15 weeks at offices within the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Environmental Protection Agency, National Archives and Records Administration or a similar agency. Positions may be available in Washington, D.C. and several regional locations. Accepted interns will receive significant financial assistance, including a stipend, fully-furnished housing, and a travel allowance. Students will not be responsible for housing, program, or application fees.
