Kashyap Mahima PlagiarismSummary

Plagiarism is often referred to as “to take another's thoughts or writings and pass them off as one's own”. Plagiarism is also thought of as copying someone else's work or borrowing someone else's original ideas. However, words like "copying" and "borrowing" can be used to minimize the severity of the violation. Plagiarism is, without a doubt, a serious offence irrespective of who performs the unethical and immoral acts. It can not only lead to legal actions but also cost penalties and severe punishments. Stealing ones thoughts and writing can portray a person as not trustworthy and not willing to put effort. Plagiarism is immoral and, in certain cases, unlawful. This can only be reduced if both teachers and students take note of their actions and understand the severity of the situation.
