  Log onto http://www.3M.com/matchinggifts. Access to this site is limited to 3M employees and retirees.
  

• 
  Follow the First Time User information to set up your Personal 3M Matching Gifts Account. Enter your 8-digit employee number (see examples on the “Employee Number Help” on the log-in screen). Enter your e-mail address as you will receive an electronic message to confirm your password. If you do not have an e-mail address, use tempmg@3M.com
  

[Note: You will not be able to access this temporary account; it only allows you access to the online system. The 3M Matching Gifts Program administrator will NOT monitor this account, and mail is purged periodically.]

  Select organization name. (If donations were matched in the previous three years, your personal giving history will appear.) Fill in the required information.
  

• 
  Print two copies of the Gift ID Coupon. Retain one for your records.
  

• 
  Mail the second coupon, to us, with a notation the gift was previously submitted using the paper form. Your part is done! We will then go online to verify receipt of your gift.
