1. Complete #1 and #2 of the "Up for Discussion" topics on p. 38 of the textbook. Be sure to compose thoughtful responses to the questions in a Word document (.doc or .docx).
#1 Based on what you know about the three platform architectures discussed discussed in this chapter, which one would you choose to develop apps? Explain your answer.
I would choose the Android platform because it is able to use the Java language. I am somewhat familiar with this language and it would be easy to use for this platform.
#2 Discuss the pros and cons of tombstoning versus multitasking. Why do you think Microsoft chose tombstoning?
Tombstoning is effective if your device does not support running multiple apps at once. Any data at the time will be lost unless you save it. When you multitask you are able to have multiple apps running at once. This unfortunately may slow down your device. I think Microsoft chose tombstoning because there is no background.
2. Complete #1 of the "Research" topics on p. 38 of the textbook. Be sure to compose thoughtful responses to the questions in a Word document (.doc or .docx).
