To use the services of azure we need a subscription Theory: - Subscriptions allow for a single Azure instance to separate these costs, and bill to different teams. When you signed up to try out Azure, you created at least one subscription to get started. Every resource that is deployed must be associated with only one subscription so that billing for that item can be processed what is azure region? Where our data center locates and where our clients going to resides the data is called as a region. Theory: - Azure operates in multiple datacentres around the world. These datacentres are grouped in to geographic regions, giving you flexibility in choosing where to build your applications. You create Azure resources in defined geographic regions like 'West US', 'North Europe', or 'Southeast Asia'. You can review the list of regions and their locations. Within each region, multiple datacentres exist to provide for redundancy and availability. This approach gives you flexibility as you design applications to create VMs closest to your users and to meet any legal, compliance, or tax purposes. what is tenant id? tenant ID is a globally unique identifier (GUID) to identify our organization name or domain What is storage account? Where our data resides in cloud is nothing but storage account Theory: - An Azure storage account contains all of your Azure Storage data objects: blobs, files, queues, tables, and disks. The storage account provides a unique namespace for your Azure Storage data that is accessible from anywhere in the world over HTTP or HTTPS. what are types of storage accounts available? Azure Storage provides three types of storage accounts that support different features and pricing models to determine which one is best for your applications. 1. General-purpose v2 accounts (mostly recommended) General-purpose v2 storage accounts support the latest Azure Storage features and incorporate all of the functionality of general-purpose v1 and Blob storage accounts These accounts deliver the lowest per-gigabyte capacity prices for Azure Storage Download 2.55 Mb.
