Malcolm X: Malcolm X has made many contributions to changing the world with his beliefs on civil rights and the religion of Islam. His belief that black people were no different than white people and that they shouldn’t treat white people like they are higher, pushed African Americans to fight for their rights.
Walt Disney: Walt Disney wanted to start a company that fulfilled children dreams and to create a visual for children to believe that dreams do come true if you only believe. Not only did he open an opportunity for children to believe, but for adults to find laughter and comfort during war times. Walt Disney was an American motion picture and television producer and showman, famous as a pioneer of cartoon films and as the creator of Disneyland. Walter Elias "Walt" Disney was born on December 5, 1901, in Hermosa, Illinois. He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions, which became one of the best-known motion-picture production companies in the world. Disney was an innovative animator and created the cartoon character Mickey Mouse. He won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of theme parks Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Bill Gates: William (Bill) H. Gates is founder, technology advisor and board member of Microsoft Corporation, the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential. Born on Oct. 28, 1955, Gates grew up in Seattle with his two sisters. Gates attended public elementary school and the private Lakeside School. There, he discovered his interest in software and began programming computers at age 13. n 1973, Gates entered Harvard University as a freshman, where he lived down the hall from Steve Ballmer. While at Harvard, Gates developed a version of the programming language BASIC for the first microcomputer - the MITS Altair. In his junior year, Gates left Harvard to devote his energies to Microsoft, a company he had begun in 1975 with his childhood friend Paul Allen. Guided by a belief that the computer would be a valuable tool on every office desktop and in every home, they began developing software for personal computers. Gates' foresight and his vision for personal computing have been central to the success of Microsoft and the software industry.
