The API Front Panel Manager is designed to work with various front panels possible for an ATC such as the controller’s fixed front panel, a laptop computer or a handheld device. If the size of the controller’s physical display changes, the Front Panel Manger Window will automatically change size. Users may use arrow keys to scroll the screen up and down if there are too many programs to be displayed on one screen. Figure 3 shows the user interfaces of the three programs running in this example. It should be emphasized that the application programs provide their own specific user interfaces. The ATC API software provides the capability to operate the programs concurrently and switch between their user interfaces. Page 4 of 9
