Communication Process Model This model suggests that transmission of information starts with a thought by a sender. The sender encodes the thought (i.e. puts it in the form of a message that can be understood by the receiver. After encoding, the sender transmits it through a channel to a receiver who receives the message and decodes it (i.e. breaks it down to understand it. If the receiver responds to the message there is a feedback. Anything environment which interferes with or distorts the transmission of the message is called noise.
