a. 2002–03 figures represent the collection rate for domestic child support cases. CSA also manages child support in cases where one parent resides in another country.
Percentage of private collect cases to total cases (CSA collect and private collect cases)
In 2002–03, 50.6 per cent of all registered parents opted for private collection, compared with 49.4 per cent in 2001-02 and 47.7 per cent in 2000-01. This was the first year that over half of all parents registered with CSA chose to transfer their child support payments privately.
