This figure gives the high bittersweet growth rate scenario, where growth rate is the unweighted mean of all habitat types (1.38). Bird and plant preferences were equal in all LULC classes. Note the symmetric pattern encircling each introduction point (black dots).

This figure gives the low bittersweet growth rate scenario, which results when growth rates are weighted by proportion of habitat. In fact, the weighted growth rate was 0.94, which clearly leads to extinction so we used a value of 1.1.
