4410 GERM WW2 ORNATE BRONZE NSKK SWARD PLAQUE ISSUED TO WINNERS OF THE 14-15th Oct. 1933 BRUNSWICK NSKK NIGHT ORIENTATION RUN. Plaque has all details in raised relief. Scroll to top with "Nacht Orientierungsfahrt". Lion monument & "14-15 Okt 1933" below. Very nicely detailed NSKK Insignia in high reflif below the Lion monument. "NSKK Braunschweig" to bottom of plaque with Laurel leaves to outer border. One hole to either side of plaque for mounting purposes. A period made original and rare item. Grade II- $395

4414 GERM WW2 NSFK MOTORCYCLE FRONT MUDGUARD NUMBER PLATE. "OD-46094" (Oberdonau region). White with black painted letters, numbers and border. Paint work touched up in places. Remains of a large circulared eagle/swastika stamp to either side with NSFK emblem still visible at the base of one. Wording to inside of border now hard to decipher. An unusual and hard to find item. Grade II- $350

4415 GERM WW2 ADOLF HITLER PLAQUE. Silvered Hitler head bust, left profile, wear to the silver finish mounted on a black painted wooden backing with a hanging device to the reverse. Originally has a small plaque, possibly a presentation plaque below his head bust, this small plaque has been removed. Size of the wooden backing is 145mm x 220 mm. An original period made item. Grade II- $250

4427 AUST C/WW1 BADGE COLLECTORS BELT (HAT BELT), has British and Commonwealth Badges: '20/INF/Australia' title, East Surrey Regt, 23rd BN The London Regt, the Kings Own, ASC, NZ General Service West African Regt, 23 Cap badges and 7 buttons, some others removed. All on a 1915 pattern leather belt, straps removed. Grade II- $375

4428 AUST WW2 PERSONAL EFFECTS OF COMMODORE VINCENT EDWARD KENNEDY OBE, RAN. Items include Wooden Sea Chest (35"x15" x16") painted black with name and rank painted on lid and rope covered wire handles. Naval Officer's Dirk (GVR cypher) by Grieves London, 18" etched blade with light stains, Lion's head pommel and fish skin grips, has sword knot but this is in very poor condition, c/w matching leather and brass scabbard engraved "VEK". Leather covered telescope by Hughes and sons London (in working order) engraved "V.E. Kennedy". Binoculars in leather carry case (has shoulder strap but securing strap broken), O/a wear, but binoculars also marked to V.E. Kennedy. 5 Pewter Tankards, 3 with Chinese dragons engraved onto the sides, one with "SS Rhodesia Star" and other with ESYS Service Whaler's Race Sydney NSW 1937. Officer's white dress tunic (missing rank boards) with gilt RAN buttons, o/a soiling. An original 160mm x 115mm photo of Kennedy receiving the Dutch order of Orange Nassan of which he was made a Knight Commander (only 6 awarded to Australian's during WW2). Vincent Edward Kennedy enlisted in the RAN 31/12/1914 as Cadet Midshipman, served WW2 as Lt-Commander and Retired 1957. C/W copies of record of service. (Please note that this is a very heavy object in total). Grade III+ $1500

4479 GERM WWI STALHELM VETERAN'S ASSOCIATION CLOTH PENNANT. Size 23cm long by 14cm at the widest end. Same design as the WWI Imperial War flag except this has a black steel helmet to the centre instead of the Imperial Eagle. Double sided two piece construction with two brass rings attached to the corners at the widest end. An original, period made item. Grade II- $250

4480 GERM WW2 ARMY GENERAL'S CAR PENNANT. Army field-grey with a gold swastika adorne taped border. Machine, embroidered gold and brown army style eagle to centre. Double sided, rigid style. has been cut off the attaching rod and the end re-sewn. An original and rare period piece. Grade II- $2250

4481 GERM WW2 SMALL PAPER SWASTIKA FLAG. Size 215mm x 120mm with a thin wooden dowel pole which has a gold plastic pointed top fitting. O/A lenght 350mm partial tear near the pole also showing age and some wear. These small flags were used during parades and street marches by the general public. Grade II- $125

4482 GERM WW2 LUFTWAFFE OFFICER'S CAR PENNANT. Grey-green cotton twill with a white machine. Embroidered 2nd pattern eagle to either side. Clear celluloid cover with a black leather and and oil cloth border which has an inner wire stiffener. Mounted on a post-war made chrome stand for display purposes. Pennant 38cm long. A desireable addition to a Luftwaffe collection. Grade II- $950

4497 AUST WWI TRENCH ART ASHTRAY/CIGARETTE LIGHTER. 120 mm cut down shell base ashtray with central 37mm mountain gun shell. The top of the projectile is removed to expose the lighter equipment & the entire projectile is removeable to allow filling through lead base. Scarce shells in use. Good trench art is becoming hard to acquire. Grade II- $275
