Anne CampbellMrs Anne Burton entered BBS in 1948. She attended Moray House Training College and became a learning support teacher at Davidson's Mains Primary School. She married in 1960 and had two sons. She lived in Edinburgh. Elma CampbellElma Campbell entered BBS in 1949. She went into Nursing after leaving School and worked in Scotland, England and Saudi Arabia. She later lived in Edinburgh and worked at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Etta CampbellMrs Etta Dodds (née Campbell) (1930) died peacefully at home on 6th December 2010 aged 91. Etta was predeceased by her husband, Charlie Dodds, and is survived by 2 daughters and a son. Finlay CampbellBBHS 1970-1972 The entire family emigrated to Australia in 1972. I now live in Darwin in the Northern Territory. A far cry from Cupar’s climate! Margaret CampbellMrs Margaret Kettles (née Campbell) (early 1940s) died in Ninewells Hospital at the end of February 2005 after a long illness. Margaret, who was brought up in Springfield, worked for many years in Cupar Co-op. She is survived by her husband and a son and a daughter, who are both also former pupils of Bell Baxter. Morag CampbellMorag Campbell (1949) died on 8th March 2007 in Queensland, Australia, after a short illness. She is survived by her 3 daughters. Shiela CampsieMrs Shiela Smith entered fourth year at BBS in 1942. After School she attended Dundeee Training College from 1944-47 then she taught in Primary Schools in Dundee until 1964. She lived in Kincardine O'Neil, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire. Margaret CargillMrs Watson, China Farm House, Upper Harbledown, Canterbury. Attended BBS in the late 1940s. Ann Carley(1925-2010) BBS 1939-44 Mrs Ann Liddle, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her parents Sydney and Ada Carley; sister Joan Robertson and brother-in law Lachlan. Ann is survived by her son Bob (Marcia) of Regina, grandson Sheldon; brother Bill (Pam) of Coventry, England; two nephews Andrew (Tanya) Carley of Rugby, England; and Sandy (Jane) Robertson of Twickenham, England. Ann was born August 6, 1925 in Castleford, England and the family moved to Auchtermuchty, Scotland at an early age. Ann learned to play piano and music was a big part of her life. She attended Bell Baxter School in Cupar, Scotland and teacher's college in Dundee, Scotland. She taught in Falkland before emigrating to Regina to take a teaching position with the Regina Public School Board. She met and married John Liddle in 1955. Ann taught 26 years in Regina at Pasqua and Wascana schools before retiring in 1986. Ann was also a long time member of the Westminster Choir and the Regina Ladies Choir. Funeral Service was held at 1 pm on Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Westminster United Church, 3025 13th Avenue, Regina with Darrell Reine officiating.
Elizabeth CarmichaelMrs Elizabeth Barnes (née Carmichael) (1954 into 4th Year) died in early February 2011. Despite her late entry to Bell Baxter, following the early part of her secondary schooling at a Convent School, she greatly enjoyed her three final years of school. Elizabeth began to study medicine at St Andrews University, but moved after a year to Edinburgh University to study English. She entered the Youth Employment Service and remained there until she married Francis. It was only after bringing up her family that she trained as a teacher and then as an Educational Psychologist. In the latter part of her career she taught English in St Denis's School in Edinburgh until retirement. Her work there included taking pupils to Stratford. Her health had begun to deteriorate seriously a number of years ago. She is survived by her husband, a son and two daughters. 
Mabel Carmichael(1895-1973) BBS 1906-12 Mrs Mabel Gillies (Mabel Carmichael MA BSc PhD) was Dux of the School in 1912. When she died in 1973 she left a sum of money to be awarded annually for singing. The first award was made in 1974.
Amy CarrAmy Carr (1942/3) died on 26th November 2003 in Ninewells Hospital after a short illness. Amy went to work in a local newsagent's on leaving school, but later she entered the Civil Service and spent the rest of her career working in the Inland Revenue. At first she worked in Cupar, but later she was posted to London. When her help was required at home, she returned to live in Cupar and worked in the Dundee Office until she retired in 1990. Her main interest outside her work was music. She was a life-long member of the choir of Cupar Old Parish Church. David Neilson CarrDavid entered Ball Baxter School in1927. He graduated BSc in 1936 from the University of St Andrews and taught mathematics at Logie Secondary School, Dundee, before doing National Service as a Meteorological Officer in the RAF. He became Depute Head Teacher at Camdean, Rosyth, Head Teacher Blairhall Primary and Head Teacher Townhill Primary, Dunfermline. Lesley CarrMrs Lesley Beaton (née Carr) (1956) died suddenly in hospital on 2nd November 2006 after a long period of ill health. Lesley did a variety of jobs after leaving school before becoming a bus conductress, and it was while she was thus employed that she met her future husband. After she married and when the children were old enough she returned to work as a home help until ill health forced her to give up. She is survived by her husband and a son and a daughter.
