At this point, Philip Lewis engaged the same musicians to make a series of records for export to German-speaking nations. This is confirmed by Sylvester Ahola's diary for 1929 and by entries in the Decca files, but the titles do not suggest (and Ahola could not recall that) anything recorded would be of the slightest interest to a jazz enthusiast.
As for October 1, 1929 above, but Joe Crossman, ts may, replace Helfer, and Bacon is definitely on d and vib. London, October 25, 1929.

At this point, the combined action of the Ministry of Labour and the Musicians' Union succeeded in preventing American musicians in London from making records with bands other than those in which they normally worked. The foregoing, while not all of interest to jazz collectors, are a complete account of the band's output (excluding waltzes) to the time of the union ban. The following, produced thereafter, are known to be of some interest, and there are probably others with short solos featured.
