It is important to set aside sufficient time to study and meditate on Scripture. People give of their time in order to come to hear a sermon. The sermon is a time in which you have the attention of a group of people or a crowd of people. Your words at this time are important. While you want to carefully research sermons, sometimes you do not have time. Perhaps you had to conduct some funerals or be with seriously ill members of the congregation.
