Morals.
Good works are advocated including meditation, self-denial, and right behavior.

Worship.
There is meditation to overcome craving and the sense of self. In Mahayana Buddhism, some pray fora transfer of merit from a bodhisattva to aid in reaching nirvana. What appears as Buddhists worshiping before a statue is really a sort of paying respects.
