EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Introduction
The digitalization of enterprise processes brings great benefits to companies such as the improvement of the speed of preparing financial records and reports, reduction of labor costs, minimization of errors in recording transactions and allowing those who do not have thorough background in specialized fields, such as accounting and human resource, to perform the necessary tasks, among others.
Microsoft Excel (excel) is a software program produced by Microsoft that allows users to organize, format and calculate data with formulas using a spreadsheet system. It is widely used by various enterprises in the performance of day-to-day tasks. Developing enterprise process applications through excel does not require as much technical knowledge on programming as developing other commercial business process system software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Zero, SAP, Oracle, etc. However, it still requires a high level of expertise, knowledge and skills in order to develop an excellent excel-based enterprise application.
With this, the proponent decided to come up with the idea of providing customized and user-friendly enterprise process applications through excel to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Philippines and abroad. The team will be composed of experts in various fields such as accounting, human resource, procurement, inventory management, information technology, programming, etc. The services also include continuous provision of customer support on troubleshooting, customization and development of the software as well as assistance in the preparation of financial reports, tax returns and other regulatory requirements of the business.
