A Primetime Special

Channel 2 Action News Investigates
ATLANTA, December 2, 2011 –Channel 2 Action News spent months uncovering big stories including two investigations that received national attention. From security breaches to tax dollar waste, Channel 2 reporters never stopped digging.

Now in a primetime special, Channel 2 Action News Anchors Justin Farmer and Jovita Moore reveal stories that affect all Georgians.

Channel 2 exposes a major security breach at the Hartsfield- Jackson International Airport. We show viewers undercover video revealing the problem that has triggered congressional investigations into the Transportation Security Administration.
Then Channel 2 Action News uncovers your state tax dollars spent to create jobs overseas. Another southern state just stopped this kind of practice. We find out why Georgia still justifies spending tax dollars to hire foreign workers.
Plus, Channel 2 discovered fake microchips imported from China. The chips were nearly used in American F-15 fighter jets at a Georgia military base. We break down how the fake chip could put our troops at risk and how the threat has caught the attention of Congress.
