| 4.5 (D) initiatives taken for improving health care: Getting appropriate health care with an affordable cost regarded as a fundamental human right. People living around the gas field are less-conscious regarding their health matters. Actually, less conscious doesn’t used here to undermine the people, but it has frequently used by the higher officials of chevron and elite person. People don’t have the idea that in which condition, what have to do. Chevron is working among the people with a view to rising awareness regarding health matters through arranging health campaign. With providing abstract knowledge Chevron also contributing for meeting up the growing demand of the people via deploying health care center. Since 2006, chevron has been sponsored 3 smiling sun (Surjer hashi) clinics around the local area. These clinics are well-equipped with infrastructure and doctor. People have been taking health services from these clinics with an affordable cost. Beside these static clinics, chevron operating 54 satellite clinics for ensuring health services within local area. These clinics provide ambulance services for the patient also.

Chevron achieved the authority to develop the living of the local people. Through analyzing findings from studies and suggestions from consultants, chevron identified the locality as a problem afflicted area. In a place where people have been living for a long time based on their communal harmony, they don’t think that they are in a state of misery, thanks to Chevron and develop mentalists for inventing acute problem in the local area. Since problem has been identified by Chevron, they designed their programs for escaping the people from this problem afflicted condition. Chevron has been contributing, since its inception, for developing the community. Chevron has initiated several public-welfare centered initiatives for contributing to the overall development of the community. Assistance provided by Chevron is diversified in nature.
