in this case, the Big Book authors tell us:

we were at Step Three, . . .”

“Power ofGod” is the answer, this doesn’t necessarily mean we are willing to accept this solution. In order to recover from alcoholism, we must make a decision to put this Power to work in our lives.
On pages 62 and 63, the Big Book authors show us how to become God directed. But, first they disclose how operating on self-will
keeps us separated from this “inner resource.” In
