This series of photos are all 12 X 16, newly printed and matted with archival mat board to 16 X 20. Each photo is printed on fiber based art paper and has been selected because of the quality of negative and subject matter. I have heard these referred to as garage art, but that is only if someone you share space with will not allow them in the house and that is a shame! These photos are too big for the scanner but I will be happy to send digital photos of them. (EPH68) Sunday August 8, 1937, the Monaco Grand Prix, von Brauchitsch wins in his Mercedes W125. Did you have the winning lottery ticket? It is probably a little late to win but you can buy a beautifully engraved, three color lottery ticket with a Grand Prix car featured in the middle. (It is supposed to be an Alfa but not quite as they must not have wanted to insult the German contingent.) These are genuine 1937 Monaco GP lottery tickets in mint condition, 2 1/4 X 4. I have several so I can even offer them in consecutive numbers if you wish more than one. Mount it on your wall and tell your friends it was the winner, what do they know? While they last. I have a few left!! $25 each.
(EPH71) Poster from the 1989 Monterey Historic Auto Races mounted on foam core, a tribute to Aston Martin, autographed by Stirling Moss, CarrollShelby, Jack Fairman, David Brown and three others that I cannot figure out who they are, so potluck! $175
(EPH73) Ellery Garfield, engineer, worked for Renault in the 20s designing and driving both the 1925 Renault 40CV open car and the 1926 Renault40CV cabin speedster that claimed 24 hour speed records at Montlhery, the 1926 car being the first car to record average speeds over 100 mph in 24 hours beating the Bentleys to the record. Garfield wrote of his exploits in two letters sent to C. Harold Wills, principal in WillsSt Clair automobiles. The first letter is a four page hand-written letter written and signed sometime after the 1925 record. The second letter was type-written and signed just after the 1926 100 mph record, it is two pages long. Also included are four photos of the 1925 car in action and during a pit stop and six photos of the 1926 cabin speedster including action, pit stops and three different views of the car at rest. Three photos were taken by Meurisse, one photo is autographed by Garfield and one photo has a schematic drawing of the car by Garfield on the reverse. All but one photo have written descriptions on the reverse. Also included is a carbon of a telegram sent by Mr Wills to Garfield. A very interesting piece of racing history, ten photos, two letters, telegram carbon, all articles are vintage to the time. $900. No discounts apply.

(EPH104) The program for the very first Grand Prix to count toward the current World Championship, the Grand Prixd’Europe incorporating the British Grand Prix, held May 13, 1950 at Siverstone and won by Farina in an Alfa 158. The original owner of this program scored all of the races with pencil so while the program is written in it is very informative. $100
(EPH105) As a companion to the above program here is the British Grand Prix program from 1951 held July 14, 1951 and won by Gonzalez in a Ferrari, which was Ferrari’s first Grand Prix victory, again, original owner scored events in pencil, otherwise the program is in excellent shape. $75

Ted Horn, Al Gordon, Lou Meyer, Rex Mays, FredFrame, Kelly Petillo, Stubby Stubblefield, Cliff Bergere and on and on for a list of 20 drivers, most in Ford V8s, one Terraplane one Willys and one Plymouth. I believe that this was a dirt roadcourse laid out at Ascot and I am sure that you will correct me if I am wrong! Heavy card stock 11" X 7", stain to fold area, has 2 holes punched at top and bottom of fold. $85

(EPH108) A small (8 X 10) portfolio of 6 modern RC photos, size “B”, of a ”Monoplace Type 59/50B Bugatti” together with an 8 page booklet describing chassis # 50180 in detail but in French. The portfolio is blue in color with red Bugatti emblems front and back and is limited to an edition of 200 this being #186. Put together sometime in the 80s I believe. $100
