ELIZABETH CAVENAR ("Elizabeth Cavender", "Elizabeth Cavenner" & "Elizabeth Cavnar") born about 1812456 & 494 in Giles County, Tennessee, married James Porter who is believed to have been from Virginia and to have been previously married, and later moved to Carroll County, Tennessee. According to the 1850 census, she was then living in Robertson County, Tennessee with her 2 daughters, Jane Porter, and her married daughter, Mary Ann Osburn ("Mary Osburn"). She may have subsequently moved to Lawrence County, Arkansas with her married daughter, Mary Ann Osburn ("Mary Orsburn"), and died in March 1850433. Also living in her household in 1850 were Azer Orsburn ("Azer Osburn"?), Jane Cavender age 12, Thilitha Osburn ("Thilitha Orsburn"?, "Tilitha Osburn" & "Tilitha Orsburn"?) age 7.457 James Porter died in March 1850 before the census was taken. James Porter and Elizabeth Porter had 3 children:

Mary Ann Porter (“Mary Porter”) born on December 3, 1833 in Marshall County, Tennessee, first married Azer Osburn ("Azer Orsburn")on either July 7, 1850 or on July 11, 1850 in Marshall County, Tennessee, later moved to Lawrence County, Arkansas about 1852, may have married a Fanning in Lawrence County, Arkansas about 1855, died on March 21, 1872 in Lawrence County, Arkansas, and is buried in the Lancaster Cemetery in Lawrence County, Arkansas. Azer Osburn was born on October 19, 1832 in Marshall County, Tennessee, was the son of Thomas Osburn and Margaret Mays, on July 19, 1862 he was a private in Company B of the Army, deserted on April 27, 1863, apparently later served in Company F of the 42nd. Baber Infantry, was honorably discharged on June 5, 1865 in Lawrence County, Arkansas, and died on May 9, 1912 in Lawrence County, Arkansas. Azer Osburn and Mary Osburn ("Ann Osburn") had 9 children:

Mary Melvina Osburn ("Mary Osburn") born on October 5, 1892, first married Monie Oliver Watson ("Monie Watson"), later married George Whitmire on September 23, 1911 in Lawrence County, Arkansas, and died on September 14, 1964 at the age of 60 years. George Whitmire was born about 1888. George Whitmire and Mary Whitmire ("Melvina Whitmire") had 3 children, and Monie Watson and Mary Watson ("Melvina Watson") had 7 children;

Lillian Beatrice Osburn ("Lillian Osburn") born on December 3, 1904 in Tuckerman, Jackson County, Arkansas, first married Harvey Smith, later married Jasper Higgingbottom, died on April 27, 1997 in Salem, Missouri, and is buried in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock, Lawrence County, Arkansas. Jasper Higgingbottom and Lillian Higgingbottom had 3 children:

Chesley Azor Osburn ("Chesley Osburn") born on February 13, 1907, and died on September 2, 1915 at the age of about 9 years from congestion and chills;

Evert Jefferson Osburn (“Evert Osburn”, "Everet Osburn" & "Everett Osburn"?) born on March 3, 1909, first married Nola Johnson, later married Euna Smith, and died on January 4, 1952. Everet Osburn had 4 sons and 2 daughters; and,

Bessie Lee Osburn ("Bessie Osburn", "Betsy Osburn" & "Elizabeth Osburn"?) born on January 14, 1912, first married Robert Smith, later married Herman Beasley, and died in her sleep about 1970 in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri at the age of about 58 years; and,

Henry Clinton Osburn ("Henry Osburn") born on February 28, 1871, died on March 10, 1934 in Lawrence County, Arkansas, and is buried in the Dry Creek Cemetery in Lawrence County, Arkansas; 452 and,

Margaret Porter, a stepchild, born on July 14, 1810, married William H. Osburn ("William Osburn") on December 31, 1829 in Maury County, Tennessee, died on July 8, 1881 in Maury County, Tennessee, and is buried in the Hill Cemetery west of Lewisburg, Tennessee. NOTE: Margaret Porter born in 1810 could not have been the daughter of Elizabeth Porter born about 1802. As it is known that she is the daughter of James Porter, then she must have been his daugther by a previous marriage. After the death of his father, William Osburn moved to the area where Alexander Osburn lived, and in the 1850 census his mothe, Ann Osburn, was listed as then living in his household.

WILLIE JAMES CAVENDER ("Willie James Cavenner", "Willie James Cavnar", "Willie Cavnar"?, "Willie Cavenner", “Willie James Cavender”?, "Willie Cavender", “W.J. Cavender” & "Willie Cavenar") born on either May 15, 1814 or on May 18, 1814433, 457 & 494 in Giles County, Tennessee, married Lewis Skidmore Hodge ("Lewis Hodge") on either August 29, 1835494 or on August 20, 1835457, bought the old home place in Marshall County, Tenessee in1847 and raised their family there, and died on February 13, 1894 in Giles County, Tennessee.423 Lewis Hodge and Willie Hodge had 10 children:

Will Hodge ("William Hodge") who married Nettie Redding;

Fannie Williamson ("Francis Williamson") who married a Gowins;

Billie Williamson ("William Williamson"?) who married Lilias Davis; and, George Williamson who never married;;

Samuel W. Hodge ("Samuel Hodge") born about 1841, never married and was killed about 1863 in Resca, Georgia while serving in the Confederate Army during the Civil War;

William A. Hodge ("William Hodge" & "Billie Hodge") born about 1844, and died about 1864 in Bowling Green, Kentucky from the measles while serving in the Confederate Army during the Civil War;

Andrew Lewis Jackson Hodge ("Andrew Hodge" & "Lewis Hodge") born about 1846, married Margaret Ann Davis ("Margaret Davis"), and had no children;

Harrison M. Hodge ("Harrison H. Hodge", "Harrison Hodge" & "Harris Hodge") born 1848, first married Fannie Benton ("Frances Hodge"?) and had no children by his first marriage, and later married Grace Padgett. Harrison Hodge and Grace Hodge had a daughter named:

Lucretia Hickman was born on December 25, 1831 in Giles County, Tennessee, was the daughter of Jesse Hickman and a Jane, died on November 9, 1898 in Culleoka, Maury County, Tennessee, and is buried in the New Ramey Cemetery in Culleoka, Maury County, Tennessee.
