Institutional Service and Development Activities: 1998-2002
Took the lead in development, design and construction of a $8,000,000, state of the art Combustion Laboratory on the Georgia Tech campus which is unique among universities in the country if not around the world.
During his tenure in this position the graduate program grew by nearly 50% while its quality improved. In fact, it rose in the U.S. News and World Report rankings from number five to number three.
