Rumors have Jeremy Bullins from Team Penske's NNS team coming over to be the new crew chief. No word if Donnie Wingo stays with the Wood Brothers or moves on (11-9-2014). Blaney will run in at least 12 races in 2015 and the Wood Brothers switch from an alliance with Roush Fenway Racing to Team Penske. Blaney would not run for rookie-of-the year as he will accumulating points in another series in 2015(11-17-2014). Motorsport reported that Blaney will drive the #21 for a limited schedule and the Wood Brothers will have a technical alliance with Team Penske. An announcement is expected around the race at Michigan in August. WBR currently has a technical alliance with Roush Fenway Racing (8-1-2014). FS1 reported in June at the Wood Brothers were talking to Hornish Jr. Other rumors have Rosuh Fenway NNS driver, Chris Buescher, as a possibility. Supposedly will run 12 superspeedway and intermediate race tracks in 2015. Trevor Bayne left after 2014 to go to Roush Fenway Racing's #6 Ford team full team (7-30-2014). Motorcraft/Quick Lane could be back as the sponsor for 12 races in 2015

Chase Elliott is rumored to be running a limited Sprint Cup Series schedule in 2015 after winning the Nationwide Championship in 2014. A team with four cars can run a fifth team with a rookie driver for up to seven races. If the team is not a Hendrick Motorsports team, Elliott could run more race. No word of HMS would bring back the #25 or if Elliott would use a number like #94 that his father, Bill, ran in the past. #9 is still used by RPM in 2014 and the team announced they have no plans on giving up the #9 . Chase Elliott will run the full Nationwide Series schedule in 2015(8=17-2014)

Team renamed itself Team Xtreme Racing [was Xxxtreme Motorsports] in late October and ran at Martinsville with Timmy Hill (10-23-2014). Team back at Dover in Sept with Timmy Hill driving, Peter Sospenzo is listed as the crew chief after being with the #77 for the first part of the season and Stephen Lane headed to the #77 team as their crew chief (9-25-2014). Team returned to action at New Hampshire in July (7-9-2014). The team withdrew from Kentucky not for Financial issues but some sort of in house politics that needed to be resolved. No word what race they will return, but the team says Yeley is still the driver (6-27-2014). XXXtreme ran six races with Yeley and either DNQ'd or withdrew in eight races. After withdrawing at New Hampshire the team skipped Indy and Pocono. No word on plans for 2015 and if Yeley will return. The team switched to Chevy from Ford after 2013 season and uses Power by Ernie Elliott engines(7-30-2014)

Randy Humphrey's team attempted and ran a few races early in the 2015 season. Regrouped and tried a couple with LaJoie driving in two race, at New Hampshire in Sept and Charlotte in Oct. No word on 2015 plans. Blaney has stated he has no plans to run any NASCAR races in 2015, going back to Sprint Cars (dirt) and helping his son Ryan (11-17-2014). Joe Nemechek ran the car with Fochler Veterans Law as the sponsor at Atlanta in August (8-31-2014). The team ran at Watkins Glen with Nelson Piquet Jr. driving. Steven Lane took over as crew chief at Watkins Glen, as Peter Sospenzo headed to the #44 team (8-10-2014). The team made 12 attempts and made 4 starts with Dave Blaney, then skipped all races from Sonoma theu Watkins Glen as they retooled (7-27-2014). Was the #19 team in 2013 with Mike Bliss driving the car most of the time(2-2-2014).

Attempted three races in 2014 with Nemechek in the car at Daytona in July and Talladega in October; and Matt Crafton in the car at Indy in July but the team failed to make any of the races. Chris Rice was the listed crew chief at Daytona and Indy, Matthew Lucas was listed at Talladega (11-17-2014). Benton runs a full-time team in the Nationwide series with James Buescher in the #99 Toyota and Chris Rice as the crew chief and a 2nd car, #29 in a few races. RAB Racing did attempt to make the 2012 Daytona 500 with Kenny Wallace in the #09 Car, but failed to qualify for the race (6-30-2014)

TMG announced (see full time teams above) they will run the full 2015 season using the #30, no word if Swan Races comes back, and if so, what number they would run or who would drive. Nothing has been posted on their Facebook, Twitter or website since April 2014 (11-17-2014). Swan Racing announced it restructured the company in April 2014, selling off one team to XXXtreme Motorsports (Now Team Xtreme Racing) #44 team. The other team, #26 with Cole Whitt, moved to BK Racing as a third full time team. The #30 ran eight races in 2014 with Parker Kligerman as the driver and has not been on the track since (7-30-2014).

Ran only a few races in 2014, the final one at Talladega using the #49 which is a number Robinson has used in the past. Nemechek ran many of the races in the #66 but supposedly parted ways with that team late in the season. No word on 2015 plans of if Nemechek is still part of the ownership group (11-3-2014). Jay Robinson and Joe Nemechek of NEMCO-JRR have partnered with a group of five business leaders including Atlanta based, Nat Hardwick, managing partner of Morris|Hardwick|Schneider and CEO and Chairman of The Board of LandCastle Title, to form Identity Ventures Racing (7-30-2014)

Roush will not run a fourth team in 2015. #99 team owners points will go to the #6 team and Trevor Bayne in 2015. Crew chief Jimmy Fennig will retire from crew chiefing and work in the shop for Roush (9-7-2014). RFR announced the team will run 3-cars in 2014 with #6-Bayne, #16-Biffle & #17-Stenhouse Jr. Edwards will not return to Roush Fenway Racing in 2015, supposedly going to Joe Gibbs Racing's 4th team. Fastenal will go to the #17 team of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in 2015. No word where Subway, Aflac or Kellogg's may go or if they will stay with a RFR team (7-30-2014). UPS will leave the sport after the 2014 season (12-13-2013).
