<888> 01/10/14 Friday 1:15 A.M.  I put clean linens on the bed.  I did two loads of wash and two drier loads.  While doing laundry, I chatted with a neighbor.  I leant the neighbor $10 to buy gasoline.  I also had the neighbor visit my apartment and we chatted, and I gave the neighbor a www.coke.com .  I put away the laundry.  I drank a Coco Cola myself.  I watered the plants.  I will wait until later on today to throw out the garbage and the old periodical literature.  CIO

<888> 01/09/14 Thursday 8:05 P.M.  I ate a 16 ounce corn chowder chicken pot pie with a 12 ounce glass of Schweppes Ginger Ale.  www.gop.com called me up from Utah trying to get a donation.  I tried to get a donation from them.  I chatted with a relative.  I was told a retired German police officer passed away recently in Greenwich, which is why the flag is at half staff at the Greenwich Police Station.  CIO

<888> 01/09/14 Thursday 5:35 P.M.  I picked up the mail.  I chatted with neighbors.  The large print Bible in the King James Version from Thomas Nelson and Sons that I ordered KJV Giant Print Personal Size Reference Bible, Bonded Leather, blue-indexed for $11.99 and $3.99 shipping for $15.98 total arrived.  I put it on the top left shelf of my center book case in the hallway with the Gideon bible and Alice and Wonderland.  I do not have my large library of hundreds of books anymore, since at a relative's advise I disposed of the books in the recycle dumpster about three years ago in the summer to build up the library at the dump.  It took a whole dumpster.  Also about the same time, I got rid of my large record collection that a friend of a neighbor picked up.  That made more room for storage of computer parts and other items that I keep around.  CIO

<888> 01/09/14 Thursday 5:05 P.M.  I went out, and I threw out the garbage.  On the way downtown, I noticed they are fully underway in building the www.chase.com bank at the intersection of West Putnam Avenue and Lake Avenue on the Northwest corner where the www.exxon.com service station used to be.  I parked downtown.  I used the bathroom at the Greenwich Senior and Arts Center.  I chatted with a couple of people there.  I then walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area.  I sat out at various locations.  I stopped by the Greenwich Cigar store, and I played an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, but the dealer's card of 9 beat my numbers, so I lost.  I stopped by the www.apple.com store, and I told them about my Nokia Lumia 520 GoPhone.  I used the bathroom at the Greenwich Senior and Arts Center on the way up Greenwich Avenue.  I stopped by the Greenwich Hardware store, and I told them I knew a relative of theirs out on Long Island that worked for www.state.gov .  I stopped by CVS, and I bought two 250 capsule 1200 mg Lecithin buy one get one free for $10.79 both and a 16 ounce bag of Blue Diamond Wabasi and Soy almonds for $5.99 less $13 end of the year Bonus Bucks I got from the CVS card machine and .24 tax for $4.02 total.  I then bought two 10.8 ounce Folgers' Breakfast Blend ground coffee for $3 each for $6 total.  I then stopped by the AT&T store, and I told them I was able to get the $59 with free shipping Nokia Lumia 520 No Contract for AT&T and $59.99 with free shipping Nokia Lumia 520 GoPhone (AT&T)  for $40 at Amazon that AT&T sells for $100.  I also chatted about communications.  I chatted with a person with two hearing aids.  I told him about the ear cleaning machine at Boston Eye and Ear Hospital at the Massachusetts General Hospital on the Charles River in Boston.  They also had one in Innsbruck, Austria at their new hospital there in 1989.  I also chatted with www.jackwills.com about the Nokia 520 GoPhone which with free wireless and www.skype.com one could chat with England for 2 cents a minutes.  I finished my walk, and I sat out for a while enjoying the warmer day.  I then went by the Greenwich Library, and I chatted with a dog breeder.  I also chatted with the Oral History department.  I then went by the Stop and Shop.  I bought a 64 ounce Ocean Spray cranraspberry juice for $2.50, a 64 ounce Ocean Spray crangrape juice for $2.50, two 18 ounce Quaker Old Fashioned oatmeal for $2.50 each, a 9 ounce Utz wavy potato chips for $2.99, two 5.6 ounce Knorr rice medley for .83 each, a quart jar of Mount Olive kosher dill pickle spears for $2, two 12 ounce generic honey for $2.50 each, Stop and Shop deli sliced Danish ham for $5.99 a pound for $6.29, fresh bananas for .79 a pound for $1.99, a four pack of 6 ounce Chaboni strawberry Greek yogurt for $4.29, a 16 ounce Smart Balance Lite spread for $4.19, buy one six pack of Thomas' Hearty Grain English muffins get one free for $4.49 both and $1.15 can return for $41.25 total.  I then returned home, and I carried up my purchases, and I put them away.  CIO

<888> 01/09/14 Thursday 9:55 A.M.  I still can not afford gasoline to drive anywhere besides Greenwich Avenue which is "Tres Cher".  I will now shower and clean up.  I will then go downtown to Greenwich Avenue to see if the Indians left any wooden nickels around.  CIO

<888> 01/09/14 Thursday 9:25 A.M.  I ordered VIP Roadster Leather Jacket in XX Large regular Brown for $99 and $6.29 tax and free shipping for $105.29 total.  CIO

<888> 01/09/14 Thursday 9:05 A.M.  I woke up at 6 A.M..  I ate breakfast of oatmeal with honey and milk, a toasted bagel with olive oil, a 12 ounce glass of 50% punch and 50% cold filtered water and vitamins and supplements, and a cup of coffee with milk and Splenda sweetener.  I washed the breakfast dishes.  I made my bed.

Some of the political families my family have been around area down south, my father's company Chemstrand use to support various local politicians.  My grandfather Scott's home turf of down state Illinois had many Illinois republicans.  In Greenwich, Connecticut; we were neighbors of Lowell Weicker, the Bush family, Hicks, and the Rockefeller families.  At Greenwich Country Day, I attended with members of the Warburg, Rockefeller, Deegan, Adams, and Morano families.  At the Greenwich Country Club, the Harris family were members.  At www.lfc.edu I was in charge of the young Republicans which included a classmate whose father ran the Rockefeller foundation.  My mother's family were from Holland, Michigan which is near Grand Rapids, where the Ford family were from.  One of my best friends in this area from Lake Forest College is related to the Harriman family.  Another classmate at Lake Forest College was neighbors of the Kennedy family.  Also Robert Morganthau's daughter was in my class at Lake Forest College.  The family that I knew out on Long Island were neighbors of the Roosevelt family.  Also another family had a father in the State Department.  My father knew Dwight Eisenhower's son.  With those connections, I probably know some other political people.  I also know two RTM representatives here in Greenwich.  The current first selectman used to be a floor officer at my local bank.  A friend of my mine also knows the Weld family from nearby Bedford, New York.  I also know members of the Garfield family, and I attended the Taft School which is related to the Taft family, and a members of the Harding, Ford, Adams, and Taft families were at Taft, while I attended.  A member of the Van Buren family used to live in my building where I currently live as does a member of the Pataki family.  I also use to know a neighbor of the Nixon family.  My family is also a neighbor of the Bush family in Kennebunkport, Maine, and my stepfather's Agnew family who were summer residents of Kennebunkport, Maine since 1876 were also the Manhattan representative to the Albany, New York State legislature around 1914, when he outlawed horse racing in New York State which was not popular.  I once met Chris Shays in Washington D.C..  Another relative's grandparents were neighbors of Nancy Reagan's parents in Arizona, and he is also related to Howard Baker.  Another relative's husband was the assistant district attorney in Tulsa, Oklahoma, so he knew politicians from that area such as the Clintons.  I also know a couple of Federal Judges along with a few local judges in this area.  I also know a few lawyers.  Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP , Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP , Milbank , The Law Firm of Vinson & Elkins, A Global Law Firm Serving Business Clients , and locally here in Greenwich, Connecticut named Larry Lawson on East Elm Street and Mason Street and Attorney Everett Fisher, Fogarty Cohen Selby & Nemiroff LLC, Greenwich, Connecticut .  I was also in Plains, Georgia, when Jimmy Carter showed up at the Holiday Inn there, when he had announced that he was running for President.  I also camped out by Ronald Reagan's ranch in Santa Barbara, California before he was elected President.  CIO

I will now shut down the primary work computer.  I will then eat a muffin.  I then will go to bed for the rest of the night and the early morning hours until I wake up to another cold morning in the cold country, but after all of these years I am use to it.  In fact I have a much harder time dealing with the heat of our very hot summers here.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 8:25 P.M.  I chatted with a friend and a relative.  When I was younger, the week before the Lake Placid, New York Olympics in 1980 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980_Winter_Olympics I left this area about 7 A.M., and I drove up the New York State Thruway to Buffalo, New York, and I cross the border into Canada, and I stopped at the Duty Free liquor store, and I bought a 1.5 liter of http://www.grand-marnier.com/dispatch.php for about $14, and I returned back the same way stopping off at Lake Placid, but when I explored it; nothing was going on, so I returned to this area around 11 P.M..  That was when gasoline was 59 cents a gallon and my 1971 yellow Subaru wagon that I bought for a $150 out in www.nantucket.net got about 52 miles per gallon on the highway.  Of course, I made it back to Toronto, Ontario, Canada back in December 1983, when it was zero degrees Fahrenheit there.  I slept on a couch at the Anglican seminary library at the University of Toronto, and I explored Toronto.  It was about zero degrees Fahrenheit in the day time there, and after that adventure, I settled back into my family's home town of Green Witch, Connecticut; where I have lived the most of my life, and my family have some sort of connection here, since although we are a private family, we have been neighbors of various politicians who were not so private.  Since I never pay much attention to government, I keep busy with my own activities which I am more experienced with.  It seems one has to be a lawyer to be involved in government.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 6:05 P.M.  I ate a baloney and Swiss cheese sandwich on 15 grain whole wheat bread with Hellmann's olive oil mayonnaise and Lays sour cream and onion potato chips and a dill pickle slice and a 12 ounce glass of Schweppes Ginger Ale.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 5:10 P.M.  I made 140 Premier Lights 100 MM filter Peter Stokkebye Turkish pipe tobacco cigarettes while watching "Phantom".  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 2:20 P.M.  I ate the other 40% of the meal that I made last night along with a 12 ounce glass of Schweppes Ginger Ale.  I use to know quite a few people in Manhattan, but whenever I return to Greenwich, Connecticut; they seem to forget people way out here in the boondocks, but I find it more enjoyable, since it is less busy out here in the forests of Connecticut.  I will now make cigarettes.  Tomorrow it is suppose go up to 32 degrees Fahrenheit and be sunny, so I guess I will go out tomorrow and forage around for a few food items.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 1:50 P.M.  I threw out the garbage.  I put the old towels in the rear of the Volvo wagon.  I opened up all five of its doors to make sure they were not stuck with frozen ice.  I chatted with neighbors.  I picked up the mail.  The order for four Scandia Woods Turtleneck in 2XL regular length in vintage blue for $5.97 each and 20% off with coupon code "E1320" for $4.80 discount and $6.99 shipping for $26.07 total arrived.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 12:25 P.M.  I ordered two Rocketfish™ - LAN Adapter for Nintendo Wii for $3.99 each and $3.98 shipping and .78 tax for $12.72 total.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 11:45 A.M.  I took down my front door Christmas wreath and my little two foot artificial Christmas tree, and I put them in a large plastic bag which I stored underneath the bedroom desk.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 11:00 A.M.  I will now shower and clean up.  There is not use in facing the Siberian tundra of Greenwich, Connecticut on frigid days.  From my viewpoint, there is no point in starting a car, when it will just freeze up later in the day.  I am stocked up on food supplies.  However, I am out of bananas, I have no English muffin, and I only have two bagels left.  Still I have plenty of other food.  I guess a lot of people are sitting around the http://www.greenwichlibrary.org/ trying to stay warm and use their internet access.  I am sure it costs a lot of money to keep the large McMansion homes in back country Greenwich warm.  I suppose www.starbucks.com on Greenwich Avenue has some of their regulars trying to stay warm too.  The Greenwich Train Station is suppose to have Optimum WiFi https://www.optimum.net/internet/hotspots/ .  I think www.mcdonalds.com on West Putnam Avenue also has WiFi, but I am not sure about that.  I am leaving my wireless going in my apartment, so that any neighbors in range can use it.  I only do that in extreme situations, which I consider the present situation.  The Greenwich Senior and Arts center just next to the Greenwich Police Station and north of Starbucks on Greenwich Avenue also has WiFi.  CIO

<888> 01/07/14 Tuesday 10:15 A.M.  I chatted with a local walker.
