Kid 1: Like what?
Kid 2: well, let's ask him to play ball with us.
Kid 1: Are you kidding me? Do you remember last week? He took our ball and bounced it off our heads. If you're going to do that, you might as well just give him the ball, he's going to take it anyway.
Kid 2: Have you heard the saying, "Killing them with kindness"? My mom says it means you squash out anger and meanness with showing acts of kindness. Let's just try it.
Both walk up to Bully.
Bully: what do you two want? Didn't you get enough last week?
Kid 2: Hey, forget about that. Do you want to play ball with us?
Bully:(looking around in disbelief) who me?
Kid 2: Yeah, let's get a game started.
Bully: Okay (with a smile) All three kids walk offstage.
Announcer: we all know it doesn't always work out that way, but how will we ever know, or how will others ever see God working in us unless we try?
1 Thessalonians 3:12 says
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else.
So, let this Christmas let our hearts be filled with love for family, friends and everyone around us. Thank you, boys, for helping us realise that we already have the seed of love in us, we just need to share with all.
Announcer: Peace is another fruit of the spirit. It's important we find peace from God in our situations in life, and also make and keep peace with each other. Matthew 5:9 says
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. So our little girls have something to show us on being peace makers. Sit back and enjoy.
PEACE SKIT
Two people arguing on the playground.
Peacemaker: Hey, is everything okay here?
Arguer 1: No, she/he keeps changing the rules while we are playing.
