The values of parameters initialized from a corresponding persistent parameter will be superceded by values set via DHCP, via a SET command in a configuration file, via LLDP, or via H.323 procedures. However, parameters that are not set via any of these other mechanisms will continue to have the value from the persistent parameter, which may have been set via manual procedures.

The text will be displayed for at least 1 second and will not be removed unless the Ethernet line interface speed changes or unless the display is overwritten or cleared by a subsequent display.

The “No Ethernet” screen will also be displayed, with the priority specified for No Ethernet screens by 96x1COPS.7.2.200 in [7.1-4], at any subsequent time during the procedures specified in this requirement that it is detected that the link has failed on the Ethernet line interface for more than approximately 1 second, and it will be displayed until the link is re-established.
