Future Perfect: (will have been -----ed)

1. Go to the 4th principal part and drop the –um (=participial stem)



2. Determine if verb is singular or plural.

-if singular…add on to participial stem –us (M), or –a (F), or –um (N)

-if plural…add on to participial stem –i (M), or –ae (F), or –a (N)

- then, add as a separate word ero, eris, erit, erimus, eritis, erunt



How to Form Verb Tenses in the ACTIVE voice.

For verbs of the 3rd conjugation (-ere) and the 4th conjugations (-ire):

Present Tense: (-----s, is/are-----ing)

1. Go to the 1st principal part and drop the –o

2. Add on the vowels (o, i, i, i, i, u) “Oh, four eyes, you!”

3. Add the personal endings (**,–s, -t, -mus, -tis, -nt)

** = the 1st person singular is the 1st principal part.
