The section contains a summary of the Standard and Vendor-specific SNMP MIBs supported by NNMi. To determine if your device also supports the relevant MIBs, consult your equipment vendor documentation or use Actions → List Supported MIBs in the NNMi Console for the selected node. Note, you may need to load the relevant MIBs into NNMi to produce a complete listing for the selected node.
You can usually expect the device to be properly discovered and monitored by NNMi as long as the device supports either the Standard or relevant Vendor-specific MIBs specified for the associated NNMi feature. There are exceptions, of course, where a device vendor only implements a portion of a listed MIB; thereby limiting the ability for NNMi to support the associated feature for that device. The Standard MIBs are supported by NNMi for all devices that implement those MIBs. The Vendor-specific MIBs are only supported by NNMi for specific device families (filtered by SNMP sysObjectID) from that equipment vendor. In most cases, the vendor-specific filters are quite broad, so most device models from that vendor are included.
Where one or more of the Standard MIBs is known to be supported by a listed vendor, the notation "(Std)" is included under that Vendor section. If your equipment vendor is not listed here, then refer only to the Standard MIBs section.
NOTE: Features (columns) denoted with "NNMi Advanced only" require a valid NNMi Advanced license be installed for the those features and device support to be available.
