Organization of the workAn opening Video SG plenary was held Monday during 14:15-15:00, at which the status of work was reviewed and activities for the current meeting were planned. Video plenaries were held as follows: Mon 14:15-15:15 Wed 12:00-14:00 – Review work and discuss further proceeding Thu 16:00-18:30 – Approval of documents Breakout work was performed on the following topics in the meantime: CDVS, IVC-ITM, IVC-CfP results, Web VC, RVC-HEVC. Further, editors worked offline in preparation of Cor.5 of 14496-2 and Cor.1 of 14496-10.

The existing Level 3.1 was said to be well suited for 720p@30fps. However WVGA(800x480)@30fps sits roughly in the middle (from the number of samples per second or the maximum bit rate points of view) between Level 2.1 (Q720p(640x360)@30fps) and Level 3 (QHD(960x540)@30fps). 3GPP suggests considering the specification of a new hypothetical Level 2.2.
