She knows nothing about her grandfather James Kilgore's bible, but suggest getting records at Ebenezer Church which V16 Page 425 is 2 1/2 miles from Newberry S.C. & one mile from the old Kilgore home place. This was James Kilgore's home. She says her great grandfather, Benj Kilgore located near Greenville, S.C. on lands granted by the King of England. She says his first wife's name was Anne McCreary. Thinks James Kilgore was her only child. She don't know anything of the birth, death of parentage of her grandmother Keziah Greer. She says her Aunt Polly had a daughter Keziah.
