The Writing Center is a free service available to all members of the University commu-
nity, not just those enrolled in English classes. Tutors assist students in the writing process, from conception and organization of composition to revision, documentation of research, and remediation of problems in grammar and punctuation. Students needing information about the Regents' Test in writing and practice in writing the essay itself should consult the Writing Center. The Writing Center encourages writing across the curriculum and serves as a research center in the practical and theoretical aspects of composition theory. The Writing Center is in the English Building, Room 237 and the phone number is 7/423-6380.

Study Abroad
Study abroad is an essential part of the higher education experience and helps students
develop an awareness of other cultures, improve cross-cultural communication and second language skills, increase understanding of one's own culture, and become more responsible global citizens. Programs are available throughout the year in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, Caribbean and the Middle East. Scholarships and financial aid are available for study abroad programs. Students should begin planning as early as possible to ensure that the study abroad programs fit into their academic planning, to secure funding, and to meet program deadlines. If you would like to participate or learn more about our programs, please call the Education Abroad Office (EAO) at 7/423-6336 or visit www.ken- nesaw.edu/studyabroad.
