About the Connecticut Wolves

A division of Do it Right Inc. is the Connecticut Wolves Hockey Club. The Wolves just celebrated their tenth year at the Junior Level and currently support teams at the squirt, pee wee, and Bantam levels in our youth hockey program. The Junior Wolves participate in the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League, one of the most recognized Junior League Wolves have been successful both on and off the ice. They have made the playoffs in nine of their ten years and more importantly helped place many players in college.

The Wolves Youth Hockey Association participates in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League and Metro Boston Hockey League. The Atlantic Youth Hockey League is considered a high level Tier 1 league. The Wolves participate with other league teams such as the New Jersey Devils, Washington Little Capitals, Westchester Express and Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. The Main objective of the association is to raise our player’s skill level by officering high level practices and game competition.

About Connecticut Hockey Skills:

Connecticut Hockey Skills was started on the premise, that too many Connecticut hockey players were being overlooked by the prep schools, colleges and by the junior and professional level.

Connecticut Hockey Skills stresses the furthering of academics combined with the basic requirements and guidelines needed for college entry as well as hockey skill development.

Connecticut Hockey Skills intense hockey program is based on the building block format, which was designed by former college players and coaches, to increase a player’s fundamental of the game of hockey by setting a foundation to build from.

We believe by developing these basic hockey skills, the player can use hockey as an avenue to further his or her education.

With a network of prep school, college, junior and college contacts, CHS hopes to guide the hockey player to a higher level of achievement both on and off the ice.

As Director of Do it Right incorporated, the parent company of Connecticut Hockey Skills and Connecticut Wolves Hockey, I personally would like to thank the many corporate sponsors, individuals and supporters who have shown their commitment to help our various worthwhile charitable functions and events.

Since its inception, Do it Right Inc., has bestowed many High School Scholarships for athletes looking to further their education. We have also raised funds through our yearly benefit hockey game. The funds raised through this benefit game and out annual “Hockey Puck Open” have gone to the Connecticut Special Olympics, Leah Hall Foundation and the Connecticut Hockey Skills Scholarship Fund. We will also continue to raise funds for the Connecticut Wolves Hockey Program. 2006 was once again a successful year for the Hockey Puck Open. We had over 80 golfers participate, which helped support the Scholarship Fund. We thank each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you again this year. After all, this is more than just a golf outing.
