Niche brands with innovative ideas and spirits within their products. As DTS focuses on attracting Gen Z customers and online users, it would be better to divide the seller clients into two segments. Segment One is for the new and innovative brands, focusing on delivering cost-effective and exciting products in the field of daily life. The second segment refers to some original brands, which not only have their own design but also publicize the designer's unique thought, character, style, and attitude to life.
Targeting
From the segments mentioned above, DTS should target more on the second segment market. As it should focus on the increasing current and future purchasing power of users, when compared to targeting the cost-effective brands, DTS should concentrate on attracting original and stylish brands with unique characters to obtain and retain the Gen Z consumers.
Positioning
Aiming to attract more corresponding brands into the platform, DTS should market itself as a platform to combine shopping and entertainment, which specializes itself and makes it stand out from the numerous shopping platforms. Besides, DTS should sell itself as an innovative and interactive platform so that sellers could generate and launch funny advertisements and games to attract customers and increase the conversion rates.
