Tato bakalářská práce “Výuka anglického jazyka v Armádě České republiky” se zabývá výukou angličtiny profesionálů České armády. Podrobně informuje o systému výuky určené vojákům, t.j. procvičení anglického jazyka, získání nezbytných dovedností a znalosti technické terminologie a dále definuje kritéria a úrovně jazykové vybavenosti podle standardizované normy NATO. Hlavní cíle této práce jsou zaměřeny na vývoj výuky angličtiny v Armádě České republiky od roku 1993 až po současnost, která zahrnuje motivaci studentů a praktické užití anglikého jazyka v jejich profesním životě. Závěr je věnován celkovému pohledu a vyhodnocení výuky anglického jazyka v Armádě ČR. Annotation This bachelor thesis “The English Language Training in the Czech Armed Forces” deals with teaching English to professionals of the Army of the Czech Republic. It gives details about the system of training designed to provide military personnel with practice of the English language, acquiring necessary skills and knowledge of technical terminology and defines the criteria and language proficiency levels according to the NATO standardization document. The principal aims of this work are focused on the development of the English language training in the Czech Armed Forces from 1993 up to now including motivation of the learners and practical usage of the English language in their professional career. The conclusion is dedicated to the overall view and evaluation of the English language training in the Czech Armed Forces.
