5.4 Submission Deadlines Departments are required to submit all Cabinet documents for Cabinet and committees chaired by the Prime Minister at least three business days in advance of a meeting and for all other Cabinet committees at least five business days in advance of the committee meeting. These deadlines should be strictly observed. Should documents not be received by the PCO Cabinet Papers System Unit by the above-noted deadlines, the related item will be removed from the agenda and rescheduled for discussion at a future meeting, except when PCO determines that there are extenuating circumstances.
